Cold plans and runs marketing for private healthcare providers: dental and physio practices, aesthetics, private GPs, consultants and multi-site clinics. Search, paid ads, social, email and the landing pages behind them are planned around one thing, the treatments where you have room in the diary. Branding sits in the same team, so the ads look like they come from your practice.

Step 1 of 2Enter your website (or the one you’d like) to start:

Health advertising has more rules than most. Google restricts many treatments, Meta rejects ads that imply something about the viewer's health, and the law bars clinics from promoting prescription-only medicines to the public, which rules out the product names an aesthetics clinic would naturally use. Agencies that don't know this get ads rejected or, worse, approved and then reported to the ASA. Meanwhile the booking data sits in practice software nobody has connected to the ad accounts.
We start with your treatments: what each is worth over a patient's lifetime, how much spare capacity each practitioner has and which ones people book without a consultation. That decides the channel. Paid search handles urgent treatments like a dental emergency. Researched ones, implants or a private scan, get content and SEO that build over months. Copy is written to the CAP Code and checked by your clinical lead. The calculator shows a ballpark first.
You'll know what a new patient costs for each treatment and which channel brought them in. Spend moves to the treatments with gaps in the diary and away from the ones already full. Ads stop getting rejected. Your clinical lead gets a monthly report short enough to read between appointments, written by the person running the campaigns.

Strategy starts with the diary. A practice with a fully booked hygienist and a quiet implant chair needs a different plan from one with the opposite problem. We rank treatments by value and capacity, look at where competitors in your area put their effort and set a target cost per new patient for each one. It's written down and agreed before anything runs.
Instagram and Facebook suit aesthetics, physio and dental well, mostly for staying visible to people who are thinking about treatment. Patient confidentiality and the ASA rule out casual testimonials and edited results, so we lean on practitioners explaining treatments, behind-the-scenes content and honest before-and-after images with consent. Meta's rules on implying health conditions shape every ad we write.
Search is slow to start and cheap to run once it's going, which is why it belongs in the plan from month one. That means treatment pages, a Google Business Profile for each site, a steady flow of reviews and the groundwork that gets your practice quoted when people ask an AI assistant. Where organic search is the bigger job, it gets its own retainer and its own report.
Google Ads runs health campaigns under its own policies, and some treatments need certification or can't be advertised at all. We build campaigns by treatment, with negative keywords to keep out NHS and free-service searches, call assets for urgent dental work and schedules that pause ads when nobody can answer the phone. Budget is judged on cost per booking.
Most lost bookings happen after the click. We test landing pages for each treatment: the price shown up front, the first available appointment, a practitioner's face and name, and how many steps it takes to book. Small changes, like showing the next free slot, often do more than a bigger ad budget.
Before a single ad runs, we set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager to record calls, forms and bookings by channel and treatment. Health information is special category data under UK GDPR, so ad pixels stay off pages where patients describe symptoms, and booking events are sent without personal details. Where your practice software can export new patient numbers, we match them back to campaigns.
Week one is for the numbers: past campaigns, analytics, booking data and the treatments with spare capacity. From that comes a written plan: the channels, a budget for each treatment, the rules each ad has to follow and what a good month looks like.
In week two we install tracking and build landing pages, then switch campaigns on treatment by treatment. Every ad and page goes to your clinical lead before it runs, and you can see the accounts throughout.
Week six is the first proper review. Budget moves towards treatments that are booking, weak ads are switched off and landing pages get tightened. Monthly reports carry on from the person running your account.
Private healthcare marketing is mostly about timing. A cracked tooth or a bad back needs a provider today, while implants, laser eye treatment or physio for an old injury might be researched for months. Patients rarely remember an ad. They remember the practice that answered their question, showed a price and had a slot free. Referrals from GPs, physios and happy patients still count for a lot, and good marketing makes sure the website backs them up.

Forty second answers with no jargon. Anything else, ring the office and ask whoever picks up.
It depends on how many treatments and channels are involved, how much content we make and the state of your website. Ad budgets are paid directly to Google and Meta, on top of our fee. For a first idea of the fee, try our pricing calculator, which takes about three minutes. The figure we agree after scoping doesn't move.
Yes, within limits. Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine, so ads, social posts and website copy can't name the product or promote it to the public. We promote the consultation and the practitioner instead, describe outcomes carefully and keep claims inside the CAP Code. Google and Meta add their own restrictions on top, which we build into every campaign.
Paid search can bring bookings in the first week, and by around week six there's enough data to judge each campaign properly. SEO and content take a few months. Email to past patients due a check-up often works fastest of all. You'll know from the start which channels to judge early and which need patience.
Often, yes. Calls, forms and online bookings are tracked from day one. Systems like Cliniko, Semble and Dentally can export new patient data, which we match back to campaigns and feed into Google Ads so it learns which clicks become appointments. Nothing that identifies a patient or their health goes to Google or Meta.
Yes, for treatments where it makes sense, such as aesthetics, physio and dental hygiene. Meta doesn't allow ads that assert or imply something about the viewer's health, so the copy describes the treatment and never the viewer's body or condition. Audiences come from interests and from past patients who've agreed to marketing, and your team checks every ad.
Sometimes. If the booking step is slow or broken, paid traffic leaks away and you pay for every lost click. We check the site in week one and say plainly if landing pages need building first. Often a few dedicated pages are enough to start, with a fuller rebuild later if the numbers justify it.
For The Warren Clinic we started with the brand and built outwards: the website, booking through SimplyBook and the signs on the building. Joining up the brand, the site and the booking step is what most practice marketing is missing.
Paid campaigns convert better when the site is up to it. Our clinic website design work covers the pages, and medical SEO builds the patient flow you don't pay for by the click.
