Healthcare website design

Clinic and practice websites that answer a patient's questions and get them booked in.

Cold designs and builds websites for private healthcare in Webflow: clinics, dental and physiotherapy practices, aesthetics rooms and consultants. We write the treatment pages with your practitioners, connect the booking system you already use and set the site up so your team can change prices, hours and bios without calling a developer. A patient should be able to book from any page in a few taps.

The challenge for Healthcare businesses

Most clinic websites were built to look clean and then left alone. Treatments sit in a long list with no prices, the booking button opens a third-party page that looks nothing like the practice, and the bios are three years out of date. Anxious patients don't push through that. They go back to the search results and book with whoever made it easy.

02

Web design and development for Healthcare

We plan the site around the decisions a patient makes. Is this the right treatment? Is this person qualified? What will it cost, and when can I come in? Treatment pages and booking come first. Layouts are calm, readable and built to WCAG 2.2 AA, with your CQC rating and GDC or HCPC registration shown where they apply. The pricing calculator gives you a ballpark range before any call.

03

What changes for your Healthcare business

More bookings from the same visitors, and fewer calls to reception asking if you treat a condition or what it costs. Staff update prices, opening hours and bios themselves in the Editor. The site carries the regulator details that patients and inspectors look for. Our portfolio shows the standard of build you can expect.

What we do

Our web design services in Healthcare

Custom Website Design for Healthcare

Healthcare design has to calm people down. Many patients arrive worried, in pain or a little embarrassed, so we use plenty of space, plain type and real photos of your rooms and team. No stock stethoscopes and no glossy models. The brand stays recognisably yours, from the logo on the door to the confirmation email after booking.

  • Designed from a blank page, never a theme.
  • Copy written by us, around the customers you want.
  • Every page built to bring in an enquiry.

E-commerce Web Design for Healthcare

Some practices sell online: aftercare products, gift vouchers, treatment packages paid up front. We build those shops in Webflow with clear rules on what can be sold and to whom. Prescription-only products never appear in a public shop, and anything that needs a consultation first sends the patient to booking instead of the basket.

  • Product pages that answer the questions buyers ask.
  • Delivery, collection and order emails set up before launch.
  • A checkout that's quick on a phone.

Portfolio and Creative Sites for Healthcare

For aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry, results are what patients want to see. Before-and-after galleries need written consent, honest lighting and no retouching, because the ASA treats edited images as misleading. We build galleries your team can add to, grouped by treatment and practitioner, with a field to record that consent is on file.

  • Large, fast-loading images that put the work first.
  • Project pages you can add to yourself in minutes.
  • Enquiry forms that ask for dates, budgets and the brief.

SEO-Friendly Web Design for Healthcare

Search is planned into every treatment page before design starts: a clear heading, the answer near the top, reviewer details and MedicalClinic or Dentist schema. Each practitioner gets a profile page that can rank for their own name. After launch, our SEO team can build on that groundwork.

  • Titles, headings and schema set up from launch.
  • Pages built to pass Core Web Vitals.
  • Internal links planned across service and location pages.

Mobile-Optimised Web Design for Healthcare

Most patients book from a phone, often while doing something else. We design for that first: a book button that stays in reach, forms that fit on one screen, tap-to-call for anyone who'd prefer to speak to someone, and pages that load on a weak signal in a car park. On a laptop the same pages simply spread out.

  • Designed on a phone first, then scaled up.
  • Click to call and short forms on every page.
  • Tested on real devices before launch.

Website Redesign for Healthcare

Older practice sites often rank for treatments you've since dropped and miss the ones you've added. Before rebuilding, we go through what each page earns in search. Pages that bring patients in are kept and improved, thin ones are rewritten and every old address is redirected. The booking system, review widgets and patient forms move across tested, so nothing breaks on launch day.

  • An audit of what your current site earns before anything changes.
  • Redirects mapped so your rankings carry across.
  • A faster, clearer site without starting from zero.
How we work

Audit. Build. Launch.

01 · Days 1 to 3

Audit

The first few days go on your treatments, your current site and the practices patients compare you with. We agree which treatments matter most, which booking system the site has to work with and what each page needs to persuade a patient to do.

02 · Days 4 to 16

Build

Design and build then run together, with work shared twice a week. We draft treatment pages from short calls with your practitioners, send each one back for a clinical check and build it into Webflow as it's approved.

03 · Days 17 to 21

Launch

Before launch we test booking on real phones, check every form reaches the right inbox, run accessibility and speed checks and set up redirects. Your team gets a recorded handover so reception can keep prices and hours current from day one.

The local picture

Website design for Healthcare businesses

Choosing a private practitioner feels risky to most people. They can't judge clinical skill, so they judge what they can see: reviews, prices, qualifications, how soon they can be seen and how the website makes them feel. A slow site with a broken booking link reads as a badly run clinic. GPs, physios and personal trainers who refer patients check the site too, before they put their name to a recommendation.

Questions

Healthcare web design FAQs

Forty second answers with no jargon. Anything else, ring the office and ask whoever picks up.

Can the site connect to our booking system?

Usually, yes. Most practice software, including Cliniko, Semble, Dentally and SimplyBook, offers a booking page or widget we can build into the site so it feels like part of it. Some allow links straight to a particular practitioner or treatment. We check what yours supports in the first week and design around it.

What do regulators expect to see on our website?

It depends who regulates you. CQC-registered providers must display their current rating. Dentists should show their GDC number and qualifications, and the GMC and HCPC expect information about services to be accurate and checkable. ASA rules apply to every page. We list what applies to you during the first week, and your compliance lead signs off the final content.

Can reception update prices and opening hours?

Yes. We build in Webflow, and its Editor lets reception change a price, add a practitioner or post a holiday closure in a couple of minutes, with no code involved. Everyone who'll use it gets a recorded handover at launch. Or hand the changes to us on a care plan.

How much should we budget for a new practice website?

That depends on how many treatments, sites and practitioners the website covers, and on any shop or gallery features. Put the details into our pricing calculator and you'll see a likely range within three minutes or so, along with ways to spread the payments. Once we've agreed the scope together, that price is fixed.

Can patients see before-and-after photos on the site?

Yes, with care. Every image needs the patient's written consent, honest lighting and no retouching, and the ASA has upheld complaints about edited or unrepresentative results. We build a gallery your team controls, grouped by treatment, with a short note on what the patient had done and how long ago.

When could patients start booking on the new site?

Most practice websites take four to six weeks. If the site is small and your copy and photos are ready, three weeks is realistic. Larger builds with several locations, a shop or deep booking integration run to eight to twelve weeks, mostly because of review rounds with practitioners. We fix the dates, including those reviews, before work starts.

Why Cold

Our work in healthcare

Website design for Healthcare businesses

Our work for The Warren Clinic in Westcliff covered the brand, a mobile-first site with SimplyBook booking built in, and the signage outside. It's the brief most practices give us in one form or another: look trustworthy from the first visit and make booking quick.

Once the site is live, SEO for healthcare providers brings patients to it from search, and our healthcare digital marketing team runs paid search and social for treatments with spare capacity.
